2008 ACEC Engineering Excellence Award
Merit Award: Vigo County and the City of Terre Haute Geospatial Information System (GIS)
Schneider was contracted by Vigo County and the City of Terre Haute to provide geospatial information system (GIS) services that would be beneficial for both Vigo County and Terre Haute by helping local governments to save money and better utilize resources.
To create the GIS, Schneider used the combination of GIS technology, digital orthophotography and LiDAR. The first step was to develop an accurate rendition of Vigo County and the elevation of the land. This rendition was then used as the anchor to place the land ownership and utility information from the thousands of documents including tax roll data, old paper maps, as-builts and deeds.

2007 ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards
Merit Award: Plainfield Belleville Project
The Belleville Conservancy District is located in southern Hendricks County in Liberty Township. This wastewater district was formed in the mid-1980s to provide sanitary sewer service to the small community of Belleville and the surrounding area.
Merit Award: Plainfield Wastewater Treatment Plant
Schneider designed a new waste water treatment facility with a modular construction approach to meet the immediate WWTP needs and to be able to construct additional treatment capacity in a relatively short period of time.

2006 ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards
Merit Award: Metropolis Parkway
The Schneider Corporation received an ACEC Merit Award for providing the Town of Plainfield with integrated services during the planning and construction of Metropolis Parkway. This fast track project involved developing construction documents, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and participation in the bid process within 19 weeks from the Notice to Proceed to the project letting.
Merit Award: Purdue Research Foundation's Technology Center
The Schneider Corporation received an ACEC Merit Award for planning the Purdue Research Foundation's Technology Center of Northwest Indiana. The Technology Center was the first of the buildings within the 393 acre Ameriplex at the Crossing, a joint venture between Purdue Research Foundation and Holladay Properties.
